The LeakSpect CO2 sensor solution is a gas measurement sensor for detecting low and high concentrations of CO2 for leak testing applications. The sensor detects extremely small holes in packages like trays, bags, canisters, and cans made by various types of material.
Many years of science and industry knowledge, paired with more than 10 years of experience in food package inspection are the base of the LeakSpect sensors.
The LeakSpect is flexible, can be integrated, and configured to meet your requirements with a small footprint into your inspection machine. You set the treshold for the leaks and the sensor detects extremely small holes in packages like bags, canisters, cans and other packages made by various types of material. This sensor for quality inspection are developed for non-destructive Leak Detection of food products with modified headspace atmosphere packaging. Several gases are supported to meet the industries need for quality inspection, for example carbon dioxide concentration.

Technology
The LeakSpect optical gas sensors are based on 25 years of development and refinement of industrial laser gas sensors. The product utilizes Tunable Diode Laser Absorption Spectroscopy (TDLAS).
The laser sensor technology has been developed by Gasporox and Gasporox’s technology partner/supplier, and is used in many other industrial settings, including the petro-chemical, pharmaceutical, and energy industries.
The Gasporox technology is already used more than 10 years very successful for the testing of food packaging. It is integrated and used in machines, systems and instruments to do 100% and lab testing of food products in many modified atmosphere packaging lines and labs. The great performance and robustness of the measurement is well proofed in the industry.
