Leak Detection

Detecting Leaks with Laser Precision

At Gasporox, we make the invisible visible. Using our proprietary Tunable Diode Laser Absorption Spectroscopy (TDLAS) technology, we offer non-destructive leak detection by identifying and quantifying trace gases. This not only enables us to detect gas inside sealed containers and packaging, it also allows us to identify leaks by sensing gas escaping from microholes or faulty seals.

Our advanced gas analysis makes it possible to spot even the tiniest leaks. Helping manufacturers ensure product integrity, shelf life, and compliance with quality standards.

Gasporox technology in-line integration

How Gasporox Leak Detection Works

Our leak detection systems emit a laser beam precisely tuned to a specific gas such as oxygen or carbon dioxide. As a container or package passes the sensor, any presence of the target gas will absorb the laser light. This absorption is instantly detected and measured.

This inline, non-invasive method allows for rapid detection of leaks in a wide range of packaging formats, including:

  • Trays and flow wraps
  • Flexible and rigid plastic containers
  • Canisters, and pouches
  • Glass and metal cans

Whether you’re working with beverage bottles or food trays in modified atmosphere packaging (MAP), our systems provide accurate, high-throughput detection, even for microscopic holes.

Do you need gas leak detection in your quality control or production process?
